Beautiful walking trails and lots of people that fish there. I love taking my dogs down here for walks. The photos in the main page aren't accurate, no idea why there's pics of the Salem armory or some school. But anyway, it's certainly worth a short drive if you're looking for somewhere peaceful to walk. You may run into a hippy or 2, but they very much keep to themselves so it shouldn't bother you unless you have an issue with other people enjoying themselves.
