I recently went to Dr Bentivegna for issues I began having with my hand. I was relieved when he did not automatically say I needed surgery. He sent me for some tests and once we figured out what the issue seemed to be that was causing me pain (carpal tunnel and trigger finger) he again did not jump to recommending surgery. I was there yesterday and he gave me a shot of cortisone for the trigger finger... and the pain is GONE. I am not in pain. For the first time in a long time my hand feels normal and I can do what I normally would WITHOUT PAIN. I was fitted for braces for the numbness which we hope will cure the rest of it. This doctor is FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!! I went to bed last night so happy my hand did not hurt I almost cried.
