The Christopher

The location of The Christopher is virtually unmatched to any other option in Edgartown - close to shops, restaurants and yet one block over to avoid any noise disturbances. My room was exquisitely decorated (loved the designer textured wall paper to accent the space and coordinating details), perfectly clean (I'll admit - because I was so impressed - I honestly looked for dust and didn't find ANY) and comfortably spacious. I stay in many hotels as I have Platinum status at Marriott hotels (at least 75 nights per year) and the thoughtful extras made this stay one of my best ever - anywhere (hand written notes, cleanliness, an iPad sharing ideas of places to explore, aroma of our delicious breakfasts, scrumptious toiletries, soft linens, cozy bathrobe, very comfortable bed, etc). I was also very happy with the in-room bathroom (glass enclosed shower, high gloss chrome fixtures, marble vanity and even a makeup facecloth to wash my day away). Julie and Marla were the most accommodating and friendly hosts. They immediately made me feel welcomed and I appreciated their recommendations, attentiveness and kindness. You have to taste their banana bread and AMAZING warm marshmallow brownie cupcake thing - just wow!! There were also delicious healthy items that I enjoyed too (if carbs aren't your thing, don't worry - you'll still be happy). Their friendliness put my entire experience on my best ever list! I will hopefully be back soon.
