The Cottage Wellesley

Service was poor. I asked for warm bread and the waitress just warmed it up in the microwave. No water was offered. No sugar for my coffee. I had to get up and ask other servers for service. Renovated interior but shallow service. Unfortunately, food was below average as well; microwaved food doesn't taste good.

This place has great cocktails. I had the McQueen while I was there and it was delicious! I am impressed that they carry the impossible burger and have it as a vegan option on the menu. The food was good but I wasn't blown away.

We loved The Cottage the first time we had brunch there. We love them even more now that they are serving the Impossible Burger! As vegetarians it's difficult to find places that are willing to serve the latest and greatest in meat alternatives, and The Cottage not only serves it, they cook it up deliciously! The only negative I would knock off a half star for is because the vibe is always really hectic and very loud, so it's not the type of place for a romantic dinner. Sometimes it's a bit overwhelming.
