Element Lexington

My wife and I generally love our stays at Element hotels. From Portland, OR to Calgary, AB, and recently the Boston Seaport, we've really enjoyed every stay. If you share our fondness for Element hotels, make sure you reset your expectations for this location to something lower... I'll start with the positives. The staff were friendly & helpful. Our room was clean and ready for us. So far, so good. Then we noticed some things that we just don't expect at the Element. The bathroom sink was cracked from the drain out to, and over, one corner, all the way down to the counter. There were multiple cracks along the walls in the shower, as well as across the shower pan (floor) from the drain to the wall. We couldn't tell if any water went through, but if kept showers as short as possible and hoped we weren't raining on the room below. Also, when we went to wash the dishes we'd used, we found the dishwasher loaded with dirty dishes. Bummer. We'll continue to stay with Element in the future, but will think twice about this one if we're in Boston again.
