I'm a current member of over a year. I never had any bad experiences until I tried to cancel my membership today. I was given a number that asked me to take a survey about vacations and when I called Golds back to explain this.. some guy (I'm guessing Marc from the other reviews) basically told me "I'm a lair, that's the number, and he doesn't know what to tell me." TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
A man named Jay, much more level headed and customer service oriented called me back and smoothed it out. I wouldn't recommend this gym, but if you're a dumb enough to sign up anyway, ask for Jay.
Pros..good location, big and has just about anything you'll need
Cons..40 a month + at least 1yr commitment, no guests, rarely has the AC or fans on so it gets thick in there, music is far too loud, closes early Fri-Sun. Oh and terrible customer service.
