Heart of the Berkshires Motel

The owner was very nice. Room/bathroom were clean and decent sized. Our bed and pillows were comfortable and the AC worked great! Its an older place at a great price. Cozy, comfortable and affordable! We stayed here for 2 nights and did not see any bugs! NO Roaches! NO bed bugs! Which is extremely important to me. It's so hard to find a cheap hotel that doesn't have bugs. My only complaint was the wifi signal was too weak. But I got over it quickly and decided to spend the time with my fiance instead of wasting time online. Because of that, this place gets 5 stars from me! I would stay here again!!!

Musty smell...in-room coffee maker needed cleaning...the less said about the coffee the better. Door scraped on rug - took some effort to open or close. Driveway was picked with meteorite craters...an interesting slalom course.

Meh... Room smells like cats, comforter had cigarette burns, fridge plugged in and won't turn on, shower needs renovations, credit card machine was broken at check-in, etc... But the beds were clean, the guy was nice, the bathroom was clean, the room temp. was nice, the AC works, right off the highway, not far from Pittsfield, etc. Not my first choice, but not a bad place if you need a nights rest.
