Marblehead Neck Wildlife Sanctuary

Great spot for spring and fall migration birdwatching.

This is one of the most active spots for migrating birds along the coast in spring. It makes a perfect day trip by public transportation out of Boston when combined with a visit to the nearby Goldthwaite Reservation. It will get pretty crowded with birdwatchers by peak spring migration in late April and May.
