Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics of Sudbury

You never really know how good and competent a Doctor or practice is until you test the limits…. My son has been going to Dr Seibel for 7 years – just regular dental checkups and then….. he had a terrible playground accident where he dislodged one front, permanent tooth and chipped the other. This is the phone call from the school nurse you never want to get. We immediately called Dr Seibel to let her know we were on our way for an emergency visit and she immediately cleared her afternoon calendar to treat him. When we arrived, I knew it was bad when I saw her reaction to my son’s teeth; I was heartbroken. Nevertheless, she worked with Dr Spyrou the orthodontist and fought tooth and nail (a perfect idiom that describes her effort) to save my son’s teeth by re-inserting the tooth and splinting them immediately. It was a “wait and see” over several months to see if the dislodged tooth would take. Throughout the many visits, we found out that Dr Seibel would consult with other dentists on a plan of action that would involve her art of dentistry and Dr Spyrou’s orthodontics. Dr Spyrou is also spectacular – working his magic to make a permanent splint that you can’t even notice. Dr Seibel and Dr Spyrou FOUGHT to save the tooth and now, after 6 months, my son’s teeth look like they never endured any trauma at all! And prior to this ordeal and throughout it, my son has never, ever has had any aversion to going to the dentist. In fact, he enjoys it. We were always happy with Dr Seibel and her team of hygienists for regular pediatric checkups. But we were extremely happy and relieved to know when it came to an emergency, we were in good hands with Dr Seibel and Dr Spyrou. In both regular check-ups, and emergency situations, they are extremely compassionate, experienced, and proficient.
