I wish I thought to take a picture of their hay. I don't know about those reviews but I got an excellent deal on my huge bale of 1st cut Timothy hay and they hay was premo way better than any hay I've ever bought.
Not only that but he was quick to answer my call every time I've called by 2nd ring. Which is the best way to get them in my experience since they deliver so they are busy. I live 84 miles away from him and bought ONE BALE he found a way to get it to me.
He had another client nearby and had me meet him there and we conducted our business.
The hay had NO DUST, NO DYE, ALL GREEN-- PERFECT--NO MOLD, NOTHING IT SMELLED SO GOOD I WANTED TO EAT IT, LOL.
If I had horses and a farm full of animals I'd buy huge trucks full. I have 4 guinea pigs and they love his hay and so do I because if I go to a pet shop I'd pay $9 for maybe a pound maybe and its dry dusty and dyed so it's basically straw mostly but with Pickards I paid less than that for a huge 55-65 lb bale. My pets ate it up--rolled in it--played in it and now miss it because I have to re-order.
I've gone to other farms and they are dusty, brown or just plain ole straw and or dyed, hardly any seeds if any at all.
