Went in Monday to see about an emergency appointment as I am working in the area, but far from home. They said they would call if they had slot, but they didn't. I called from out of state on Tuesday for emergency appointment Wednesday, but they're closed on Wednesdays. I was actually looking forward to going to the dentist's with the appointment I had Thursday. I got in to the dental seat, and explained my concern with some rear pain I'd been experiencing to Dr. Reifenstahl. I was told it might require an x-ray. When I asked the dentist if he could visually check first, before an x-ray, and then I could decide whether or not to have an x-ray taken (I've had many done in the past year, and am not keen on "just" one more, unless absolutely necessary), the response was that I needed to find another dentist. I left in tears. I am far from home, but now I'm going to go home (6-hour drive round trip), take a day off from work to see my regular dentist.
