The tranny in my wife's car lost first gear. These guys saw me promptly and decided to replace the ENTIRE transmission with a junkyard unit. The repairs took over a week, becuase the first junkyard unit they got was "cracked" and they had to get another one. Then, the reverse lights on my car didn't work after I picked it up. They started to make excuses how it was the junkyard transmission's fault and not theirs, but they fixed it. After the lights stopped working a few weeks later, I paid another place to fix it correctly. He may have been "good" to others, but he wasn't "good" or even "mediocre" to me.
