Sake Bomb Bistro

Friends ordered a few different mixed drinks and were unimpressed. They were weak n tasted all the same despite being different drinks but after mentioning it to the waiter, they gave us new drinks that were alot better. Despite the minor issue everything else was great and the service was good and staff was pleasant. Would def recommend and will go again.

I was pretty excited to try this place because of its high rating. It's a smaller restaurant; it has a comfortable and cozy vibe to it. The price was about average for sushi. I ordered sake bomb boat for two, and for the sushi of it, it's overpriced. Just from looking at makis, the rice wasn't even... Sashimis weren't well cut. Nigiri rice was too much. Fish weren't fresh. Just sushi here was a very disappointing experience for me. I also ordered few appetizers. Spicy crab ragoon had mostly fried edges, there weren't that much meat to eat. I asked for spicy mayo as a side, and they charged $1 for each person? Many other sushi restaurants do it as a complimentary side unless you ask for a lot. There was only 1 server, so I do understand that he was busy and the service can be a bit slower. Despite its busyness, our server was very nice.
