The owner talks about being "family" but they charge you like you're a stranger. Steep prices despite my doing almost $20k in business over the last 4 years with them. And when installing my central air system their salesman promised I was entitled to a $300 rebate & gave me paperwork to claim it. This was utterly false; it was rejected. I wrote a letter to the owner about it but received no response. Nothing.
Another time I was charged $500 for an emergency call on a Saturday at 8 am where the young worker examined the propane burner & said he'd have to come back during the week with a part. Ridiculous though they adjusted that to $375--and then charged real well when they did the work that week. Nearly another $3k for some repairs and maintenance.
The final straw was a week later my heater went down again---a repairman came out & examined it. He stated it stemmed from a cracked pvc pipe that had been incorrectly installed by them the week prior. I was told they'd be back to repair that at no extra charge & the owner would be notified. They came back, did the repair, and at my request then replaced a thermostat upstairs (5 min job). Then I received an invoice for $400!! This was reduced to $150 when I complained--for the installation of the new thermostat! Yeah ok. See you later. DO NOT use this company unless you don't mind being grossly overcharged while being assured "you're family!!"
